The stepping-stone lawn

THE GARDEN STORY

Space to feel
at home.

This illustrative lawn project explores how a small change in circulation can make a garden easier to use. A sequence of stepping stones creates a direct route across the grass while retaining an uninterrupted sense of greenery.

The design focuses on practical spacing, comfortable access and clean transitions between hard surfaces and lawn. The grass remains the main feature, with the path acting as a quiet guide.

It is an approach for a garden that needs to feel both tidy and relaxed, connecting the house to a favourite place to sit without filling the space with paving.
